Citrus Heights Water District received a record amount of applications for its 2023-24 Customer Advisory Committee, thanks in large part to a dynamic digital marketing campaign run across websites, applications, and social media.

The district, which provides drinking water to an estimated service area population of 70,000 customers via approximately 20,300 water service connections in Sacramento and Placer Counties, was able to get the word out to interested customers through a series of efficient geo-targeted digital marketing campaigns, using a mix of programmatic advertising, paid search campaigns, and social media ads.

The campaigns were created, managed and optimized as part of my role with Regional Government Services Authority, an organization that works exclusively for the benefit of public agencies, providing a ready source of support and consulting services.
