Why Every Social Media Post Suddenly Looks the Same (And How to Use AI Without Losing Your Voice)

By |2026-02-11T14:52:27-08:00February 11th, 2026|Social Media|

Spend five minutes scrolling LinkedIn or Facebook and you’ll notice something strange. Different companies. Different industries. Different audiences. But the posts all look, well, suspiciously similar. Big statement. Short line. Another short line. Maybe an em dash. A rocket emoji. Three hashtags that could apply to literally anything. I’m not anti-AI. I use it all the time. But lately I’ve found myself reading posts and thinking, “There’s no way a human actually talks like this.” AI didn’t create the sameness problem. It just poured gasoline on it. What’s Actually Happening Most AI tools are trained on existing internet content. And let’s be honest, a lot of internet content already sounds formulaic. So when someone types, “Write a social media post about marketing,” the model does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It generates something statistically safe. Clean. Polished. Optimized. It’s just predictable. And predictable [...]

Digital Marketing Trends in Greater Palm Springs

By |2026-01-29T15:12:35-08:00January 28th, 2026|Digital Marketing, Email Marketing, SEO, Social Media, Tips, Websites|

Digital marketing in Greater Palm Springs has never followed the same rules as bigger cities, and in 2026 that gap is only getting wider. That reality breaks a lot of generic marketing advice right out of the gate. If your strategy assumes people are researching for weeks, comparing brands, or slowly warming up to a business over time, it is already out of sync with how this area actually works. […]

Social Media in 2026: What’s Changed, What Still Works, and Where to Focus

By |2026-01-20T16:16:33-08:00January 20th, 2026|Social Media|

If social media feels louder, more crowded, and less effective than it used to, you’re not imagining it. I talk to a lot of business owners who are doing what they think they’re supposed to be doing. They’re posting consistently, sharing updates, staying active. On paper, everything looks fine. But the results don’t always match the effort. Plenty of likes, maybe a few comments, but not much movement where it actually matters. […]

By |2025-10-24T12:02:50-07:00October 24th, 2025|Digital Marketing, Email Marketing, SEO, Social Media, Tips, Websites|

As someone who’s been brought in to clean up more than a few of those situations, I figured it’s time to help small business owners spot the difference between a real professional and someone who just figured out how to open Canva. […]

By |2025-07-30T10:18:08-07:00July 30th, 2025|Digital Marketing, SEO, Social Media, Tips, Websites|

Some of the most meaningful work in the Coachella Valley (and beyond) is being done by small nonprofits — often with tiny teams, limited budgets, and zero marketing departments. They’re busy doing the actual work: helping people, supporting artists, pushing for change. What they’re not doing? Worrying about whether their website loads in under three seconds or whether anyone can find them on Google. And that’s where I’ve been lucky enough to step in. […]
